Amy M K Gambler, Founder & President
Amy is a follower of Christ, wife to Matt, mom to Brian and Jack and founder of Little Brown Suitcase Ministries Inc. Prior to ministry, she spent 20 years in the financial world. Amy was adopted at the age of 8 after spending several years as a foster child. She knows first hand the struggles that come with the fostering and adopting process. God has called her to embrace that pain, grow through it, and now use those struggles to bless others. Genesis 50:20 says "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done..." We are not defined by our past or the pain! She homeschools her 2 boys, serves as part-time financial treasurer to Fleetwood Bible Church, loves triathlon and running.
"In a futile attempt to erase our past, we deprive the community of our healing gift. If we conceal our wounds out of fear and shame, our inner darkness can neither be illuminated nor become a light for others." - Brennan Manning, Abba's Child: The Cry of the Heart for Intimate Belonging
Bernice Holman Beam, Vice-President
Bernice loves the Lord Jesus Christ. She is married to her godly husband Robert. They enjoy 2 cats (Tammy and Sylvia), several chickens, and 3 adult children: Robert Jr., Demitrius, and Lawra-Marie. Bernice and her husband own a contracting company in Philadelphia, PA. Bernice enjoys singing in the church choir, mentoring women, and providing biblical counsel and community resource support to the hurting and grieving, sharing hope with the hopeless, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile." Jeremiah 29:11-14
